How to best mount cork on the wall.

Grab a cork tile and spray the back side paper side with spray adhesive then immediately spray the section of the underlayment it will attach to. Place two strips of heavy duty foam mounting tape on the clean wall one for each top corner of the cork board using the measurements you took earlier to determine their placement. Glue is troweled on with plenty of open time and you may need to roll the edges if there is a seam. Adjust level of board and press right side into wall to mark. Be sure wall is clean dry and that the existing surface is secure.

Press the cork tile into position and hold for about 30 seconds before moving on to your next tile. Order the cork sheet. Most mounting tape comes in pre sized strips but if you are able to determine your own strip size cut them to be 3 inches long. Press the cork board against the wall and hold it there for 30 seconds giving the adhesive time to work and become stable.

Get and mount the plywood board to the wall. Apply 100 adhesive coverage to the wall surface. Roll cork onto board. If adhesive dries to wall prior to installation scrape off and reapply.

We recommend henry brand 356 or 176 applied with a v notched trowel. Hold up your cut cork roll to the wall along the marked vertical line.
