I have broken the door handle on my washing machine the model stated above. Took about 30 mins. To open the door you can either push the striker from inside as you ve already got the top off power off first. Ordered and delivered the next day fit our washing machine door perfectly.

You should be able to relase the door latch by either removing the top reaching down to the latch or with strong thread stretched from top to bottom of the door or slim blade slid in from the rhs to pull or push the latch lever to the left. You then need a new door lock. Give the door handle a good thump then try opening it from inside. Remember to take photos of how your handle was fitted.
