Horn Honks Every Time I Lock Door

The door unlocked but the alarm sounded and i had to lock and unlock with the remote to stop the alarm.

If you want to reactivate the horn honk feature you could trying pressing and hold both the lock and unlock buttons on the remote for at least two seconds. The horn should honk one time.

My first issue with this car has to be the horn honking every time i lock or unlock the car whether i use the remote or the button inside the door. With honking horn of course does a situation come up where you want to lock the doors but feel the alarm is an overkill. I dont have any key remote an i dont see any alarm horn under the hood so im lost cuz although it isnt a big problem i dont like to announce my arrival to everyone. It honks on the first push of the remote when i lock it and honks twice when i on the first push when i unlock it.

If you lock the doors with the key fob the horn honks for one short honk.
